About Butterwell Blooms

Hello!
I'm Vicky
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved plants but I didn’t always know they’d become my life’s work! In 2016, I moved away from Cornwall to Bristol and, for the first time, realised how much I missed being surrounded by nature. Like many, I followed the well-trodden path from houseplant enthusiast to full-blown nature lover, eventually leaving a career in social media management to work in a plant nursery back in Cornwall after the COVID lockdown made me rethink what truly mattered.
Immersed in the world of trees, shrubs, and perennials, I found myself drawn deeper into horticulture, absorbing everything I could. But it wasn’t until I saw florists working with British-grown flowers that everything clicked. I’d never been drawn to traditional, rigid floristry, but these wild, loose arrangements sparked something in me. That moment planted the seed for Butterwell Blooms, and I haven’t looked back since.
Now, I grow flowers that move with the seasons - loose, natural, and full of life so they can be enjoyed in the way they were meant to be. Whether in a bouquet for your home, a special event, or a wedding, my flowers are a celebration of the land they grow on, the soil that sustains them, and the people who find joy in them.

Flowers From The Farm
As proud members of Flowers From the Farm, a network supporting artisan growers of seasonal cut flowers across the UK, we occasionally source additional blooms from other local growers to complement our own. We are committed to using 100% British-grown flowers, ensuring every stem is seasonal, sustainable, and locally sourced.
